Educational Methods  The board has adapted multi-media educational system. These consists of printed course materials for self-study, Audio/Video system, Assignments and Student support services, Evaluation of lesson by faculty experts.

Syllabus The syllabus has been designed and developed according to the syllabus of various universities in India and abroad.  Educational materials are prepared by faculty experts of our board as well as other universities of India and are edited by subjects specialized persons. The study materials are thoroughly checked and corrected before being dispatched to the students for study and guidance.

Reservations As per the rules of Government of India facility for reservation of seats in all programs are available to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, War Widows, Ex-Serviceman, minority community, backward-detainees and handicapped students.  Fee concession is eligible for SC/ST and other eligible candidates as per Government rules.

Fee Payments The candidates should pay the prescribed fees along with the filled application form. Application without fee are liable to be rejected summarily. Fee once paid is not refunded in any case. The course fee includes all payments like examination fee, enrollment fee, cost of books and other study materials. There is no additional fee of any type during the course time. On receipt of the completed form and the fee printed lessons will be sent to you by post/courier.

Procedure for Admissions Candidates can collect the application forms from the nearest study centres/our office. Admissions are made throughout the Academic year (June to May) as well as Calendar year  (Jan to Dec).

Documents to be enclosed along with application form

  1. Copy of all certificates
  2. Required Passport size photos.

The candidate should produce original certificates at the time of admission for verification. Students who are in service required to furnish ‘No Objection Certificate’ duly issued by the employer stating that leave would be granted for the period of examination.

Examinations Examination will be conducted in study/examination centres as decided by the board from time to time.  The candidates can also take the examination through on-line. There are two examination in a year. Examination will be conducted in the month of May and December. All the examination conducted by the board are based under “Open and Distance Education System”.  The passed-out students will be awarded with certificates.

Hall Ticket Hall ticket for examination will be send 10 days before examination. If any student does not receive his/her hall ticket by this time, he/she should contact to the office immediately by phone or person.

Minimum Pass mark Minimum pass mark in each paper will be 40%.  For first, second & third division, 60%, 50%, 40% marks respectively are compulsory.

Failed Students Generally, there is no provision for supplementary examination, but in case a student failed to appear in final examinations on medical and valid ground, the committee has right to conduct special examinations. The students failed in the examination should attend the next examination without any course fee. But there will be an examination fee of Rs.1000/- for failed candidates for reappearance. If the candidate fails in any subject, he has to reappear only for that subject.

Publication of Result Result will be published within 3 months from the date of examination and mark list and degree certificate will be issued to the passed candidates within 3 months from the date of publication of results.

Scrutiny of Results Examinee who wants to get the results scrutinized will have to deposit a sum of Rs.500/- for each subject within 30 days of the publication of result. In Scrutiny only marks entered in the register and its tabulation figures will be compared with those given in the examinees answer sheet. Re-examination of the answer sheet will not be possible under any circumstances. In no case the scrutiny will be done in the presence of the candidate or his/her representative. In case any favourable change in figure/figures is/are noticed during scrutiny, it will be communicated to the candidate at the earliest.

Verification of Certificates The verification of the student’s certificates can be done through our e-mail/hard copy by the respective employers.

Recognitions The board is a national, non-commercial, autonomous educational institution. The quality of education provided by the board is similar to the standard provided by universities, Educational Boards and other International Educational Institutions. The educational programs of the board are designed and developed adapting the curriculum, pedagogy and evaluation system used in India and Foreign countries. The students have to go through rigorous and intensive training. To maintain the academic autonomy, to offer contemporary curriculum and high standards of instruction the board has opted to operate independently outside the provisions of UGC Act. The S.N.E.R & B has never received any grand-in-aid either from the Government or from the University Grant Commission (UGC) So far. Therefore, UGC Act is not applicable on the board.

General Information Students can clear the doubts of their study personally or through correspondence. Any change in address of candidate should be reported to the board immediately for easing the correspondence. Students should take admission only after being fully satisfied with the utility of the educational programs rendered by the S.N.ER & E.B and due consent of the guardians. If any student has any dispute with this institution/board it will be resolved through the committee appointed by the S.N.Educational Research & Examination Board under Indian Arbitration Act 1940. The decision of the Arbitrator shall be final and binding on all parties. All dispute/disputes are subject to Palakkad Jurisdiction only.
